Beverage photographs are very unique. Unlike food photos, where an entire surface is out in the open, beverages are usually seen through some kind of glass or container. In that respect, some of the same considerations about glare and angle of view that are used in product photography, have be applied to beverage photography as well. The main difference is, the vessel that's holding the liquid, isn't usually the main subject.
